Daughters, oil on linen 24″ x 18″ commission
I have painted this theme before, three daughters. These sweet girls are the daughters of Singapore. Their dad works the International Furniture Market in High Point, NC. My dear artist friend who works with him recommended me for the job.
They are sitting on a swing in a playground. Lots of hands and feet; these are important features! I simplified the background and clothing.
I love that you can tell that each one has their own personality and that they are happy. I like happy. The client commented, “Thank you for the beautiful painting. My girls love it!”
